🔭 Nasruddin and the Telescope 🌌

One night, Nasruddin was peering through a telescope pointed towards the stars.

A passer-by asked, “What are you looking for, Mulla?”

“Peace,” said Nasruddin.

“Peace? In the stars??”

“Of course,” said the Mulla. “We’ve searched everywhere else – in politics, in business, in war. I thought perhaps we had misplaced it in another galaxy.”

The man laughed. “Did you find it?”

Nasruddin sighed.

“No. But I did find my reflection in the lens – and that, it seems, is where I should have looked first.”
