Saruul Khatanbaatar

Saruul Khatanbaatar leads the Mongolia office of communications agency RedHill, overseeing operations, client partnerships and growth in the market. The agency's work includes public relations, crisis communications and sustainability storytelling.

Saruul is also a co-founder of Equity Lab, an early-stage social enterprise working to empower underprivileged youth through extra-curricular educational programs and innovative tools to ensure equal access to development opportunities. She was recently the Executive Director of the National Committee on Global Communications of Mongolia and earlier was Commercial Director of Aeromongolia, in charge of critical negotiations.

Saruul is a Master in Public Policy alumna of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore. During her time at LKYSPP, she facilitated live negotiation workshops for Singapore's National Trade Union Congress. She has delivered a series of online negotiation workshops and master classes for Konrad Adenauer Stiftung’s KAS Academy, with young politicians participating from all over Asia, and has facilitated workshops for the Supreme Court of Mongolia in cooperation with the Harvard Kennedy School’s Ash Center Innovation Field Lab.

Saruul was previously a project coordinator at the Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia, where she coordinated the new international airport management project negotiation between the Government of Mongolia and the Japanese consortium.

She graduated in Aviation Engineering from Brunel University London, and has public and private sector experience in diverse industries such as mining, aviation, transportation, policy making and education.
